Javier Perianes returns to the 37th International Music Festival of the Canary Islands this week to perform Camille Saint-Saëns’ Piano Concerto No. 5 ‘Egyptian’ on the occasion of the centenary of his death alongside the Budapest Festival Orchestra and principal conductor Iván Fischer, marking Perianes first appearance with the orchestra.

The concerts will take place on 23 and 24 July at the Auditorio Alfredo Kraus in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria and the Auditorio de Tenerife, respectively.
