Recital partners Javier Perianes and Tabea Zimmermann have teamed up to record a new album, Cantilena, which is a celebration of Spanish and Latin American music featuring Piazzolla’s Le Grand Tango, Falla’s Siete Canciones Populares Españolas, and Villa Lobos’ Bachiana Brasileira No. 5.
Released internationally on harmonia mundi, the album is first available on digital platforms on 17 April, with CDs available from 8 May.
