Javier Perianes has been awarded the ‘Academia Iberoamericana de La Rábida’ Prize.

“On Monday, February the nineteenth of the year two thousand and eighteen the General Board unanimously agreed in an Ordinary Assembly to confer the ‘Academia Iberoamericana de La Rábida’ Award, in its second edition, to Javier Perianes, prestigious pianist from Nerva for his brilliant international career performing throughout the five continents with world-class conductors at the most renowned concert venues”.

The act took place this afternoon at Huelva University’s School of Business and Tourism, presided over by the President of the Academia Iberoamericana de La Rábida, Sixto Romero, as well as a line-up of academics and public institution representatives such as the Vice-Chancellor of Equality, Social Policy and Conciliation of the Andalusian regional government, Francisco José Martínez, the Dean of Huelva University, María Antonia Peña, and the Mayors of Huelva and Nerva, Gabriel Cruz and José Antonio Ayala.
