Javier Perianes returns to the Oslo Philharmonic on 29 and 30 September to give the Norwegian premiere of Jimmy López Bellido’s Piano Concerto Ephemerae under the baton of Chief Conductor Klaus Mäkelä. The work is co-commissioned by the London Philharmonic Orchestra (with whom Perianes gave the world premiere earlier this year), São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra, Oslo Philharmonic, and the Philadelphia Orchestra.

The programme is completed by Debussy’s Iberia suite, Falla’s suite No. 2 from The Three-Cornered Hat, and Stravinsky’s ballet Petrushka. The concert on 29 September will be broadcast later on Norwegian National Radio.
